T.L. Kennedy's Environmental Club is proud to enter into a partnership with Think Recycle.

Through this program we collect used cell phones, used ink cartridges and used laser printer cartridges and send to Think Recycle. They pay us for these items and we use these funds to support our Environmental Club at TLK.

If you have any of these items at home, please do not throw them out. It is better for the environment and T.L. Kennedy if you bring these items to school and put them in the Think Recycle box located in the main office.

TLK STUDENTS CONTINUE IMPROVING !!!

This year, our students writing the literacy test for the very first time achieved an 83% pass rate. This is an improvement over last year's result of 81%. With a great sense of pride, we congratulate our students.

Here are some more highlights:

• Our students writing the test for the first time were 2% more successful than last year
• Applied students writing for the first time were 25% more successful than last year
• Students retaking the test were 17% more successful than last year
